Changing Times in Model Flying

with Martin Dilly, FSMAE and Jim Wright, FSMAE - 16th February @7.30pm

Model flying in the UK has a rich history of achievements and developments in the sport.

With 2022 seeing our centenary,  Martin Dilly and Jim Wright have delved into our archives and selected some events, names, achievements and photographs to highlight how we have progressed and developed to get us to where we are today, as well as some stories of how it used to be.

“The exhilaration of flying is too keen, the pleasure too great, for it to be neglected as a sport.” Orville Wright’s words but it applies to the BMFA too, so it’s time to blow our own trumpet and remind ourselves what a great organisation we’re a part of. Join us and share your own memories.
