A bit of a general ITAT update this one, a bit longer than normal but hopefully worth a read.

Firstly we would like to thank Ron Gray for his excellent presentation this past Tuesday evening, it really was a very well put together demonstration de-mystifying Fusion360 for many of us. If you haven’t had chance to watch it yet it can be viewed on the home page of the ITAT website at https://itat.bmfa.uk

All past episodes are available to view on the BMFA YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/@BritishModelFlyingAssociation  and also on the ITAT Forum at https://itat-forum.bmfa.uk where you can ask any questions or discuss the content of the sessions.

Akromaster-20 Shared development build proposal

Regular ITAT viewer Jonathan Robertson has made an excellent suggestion for a shared development and build project, based on the free Akromaster 20 plan that can be downloaded from Outerzone. the ITAT team think it would be great to see many of you joining in with this development and sharing your skills, production files, images and efforts on the forum and building your own Akromaster, have a read of progress so far at https://itat-forum.bmfa.uk/build-threads/akromaster-20-shared-development-build-proposal

Perhaps we could have a mass Akromaster launch at ‘In the Air Tonight Live’ which we hope will be an addition to the popular builders show at BMFA Buckminster on September 30th and October 1st 2023, where we hope to have some live demonstrations, some flying and an opportunity to meet the ITAT team and viewers in person. More details on that to follow over the coming weeks and months.

In the Air Tonight – Tuesday 14th March

Don’t forget to register for our next session, if you haven’t already, on Tuesday we have The design and building of a 3-Axis CNC Router with Michael Campbell, Michael is another regular ITAT viewer that has put his head above the parapet and volunteered to share his experience. (Much appreciated Michael)
